However, we'll post other pictures of our other daughter, Lily, as well, after all, we don't to leave her out !!!
Lily and Daisy were both born by cesarean section (Lily by emergency 4 days late and Daisy at 36 weeks + 6 days which classed her as premature).
Both arrived safely into this world at 11.56 A.M which was a bit freaky to say the least.
Lily weighed in at 8lb 2oz

Lily at about 3 days old.
Daisy weighed in at 7lb 4oz

Daisy at about 3 minutes old.
Both the girls were born at Frimley Park Hospital (http://www.frimleypark.nhs.uk/), and thanks to all the staff there for everything.
Unfortunately, Daisy was born with the above mentioned defect and required to be transfered to St Georges Hospital (www.stgeorges.nhs.uk/) for surgery and neo-natal care. Again thanks to all the staff there for all their support so far since daisy arrived last Wednesday Night (delivery thanks to the Special Baby Transport Team).
Here's a selection of photo's from the last few days.

Daisy the day after her operation. 2 Days Old.

A bit blurred but Daisy trying to open her eyes.

Daddy's first cuddles. Daisy is three days old.

Mummy's first cuddles.

Daisy later in the day. Notice that the "T.A.T" tube has gone. She managed to pull the tube out of her nose over night. Surgeons decided not to re-insert it. We have also been alllowed to dress her. Notice the slight jaundice, this increased gradually and Daisy was put back into an incubator under a UV light to help with this.
Daisy is now 5 days old and she still hasn't had any food !!!!
Hopefully we can start to feed her tomorrow. But only when we return from seeing Lily, who is being looked after by Grandparents (Thanks Heather and Tony!!!)
As soon as we have more time we'll post some more pictures of both the girls and some information on how Daisy is doing.
Ian and Liz.
